LOW LATENCY FOR ISR AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
Makito MX1 Rugged is an ultra-compact H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC video encoder for low latency streaming of full-motion video (FMV). With dual encoding cores, the MX1 can encode H.264 and HEVC simultaneously, providing high quality streams suitable for downstream systems.
With MX1 Rugged, downstream exploitation systems can receive the best video possible, even when streaming over constrained networks where bandwidth is limited.
SWaP Optimized
Lightweight and Portable for ISR
Makito MX1 Rugged is available as an ultra compact, rugged appliance for ISR platforms and manpack systems, or as an OEM board for integration into systems such as sensors, datalinks and mission computers.
The smallest, lightest and most power-efficient (under 8W) ruggedized HEVC/H.265 encoder on the market, MX1 Rugged is ideal for air, ground, manned and unmanned applications.
COMPLIANT ENCODING WITH KLV METADATA
Capable of combining H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC encoded video with synchronous or asynchronous KLV metadata, Makito MX1 Rugged optimizes streaming bandwidth through highly efficient encoding options and selective filtering of KLV metadata parameters. Adhering to MISB/STANAG specifications for video encoding and KLV metadata, Makito MX1 Rugged streams provide the compatible imagery and metadata needed to meet mission requirements.
POWERED BY SRT
Secure Reliable Transport
Haivision’s Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) technology provides end-to-end security, resiliency and dynamic endpoint adjustment based on real-time network conditions to deliver the best video quality at all times.
With SRT, you can optimize video streaming across unpredictable networks, like the Internet, by assuring quality-of-service when faced with packet loss, jitter, latency, and fluctuating bandwidth.
SRT offers significant operational flexibility and cost savings over (or compared to) satellite or custom network infrastructures.
